The place offers an excellent setting to admire the Northern Lights dancing in the northern sky with the silhouette of Ylläs-fell shining in the background.
Cross-country skiing and sledding trails run right in the "backyard", and a Ski Bus runs daily to and from the nearby Ylläs-fells and back to Äkäslompolo.
Loimu Resort has

- A smoke sauna, a sauna cabin and a Jacuzzi offer moments of relaxation.
Accommodation
Loimu's rooms have a beautiful view directly towards Lake Ylläsjärvi. Each room has a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, free toiletries and coffee maker.
The surroundings of Loimu Resort offer a particularly good setting for admiring the Northern Lights, as the bright starry nights and vast fell landscapes create the perfect conditions for this phenomenon of northern nature. The road lights in the village also go out early in the evening, so that you can admire the whole sky.
Each night includes breakfast, morning sauna and morning swim in Lake Ylläsjärvi.

The 46-seat restaurant serves carefully prepared dishes that reflect the rich traditions and natural surroundings of the region. Whether it's a dinner under the Northern Lights, a celebration or a casual dining experience, we offer an experience that will be tasty and memorable.

Our sauna area consists of:

Loimu Resort is located in Ylläs near the ski centre, at Tirroniementie 4C, 95980 Ylläsjärvi, Finland.
