Midsummer at Loimu

At Midsummer, Loimu is all about spending time outdoors, enjoying good food, and making the most of the summer evening together. During the day, we’ll be serving a Midsummer buffet, there will be garden games to enjoy, the terrace will be open as usual, and in the evening Vaaranlaita will be playing live at the lawn jam session. The evening will culminate in a bonfire by the shore of Lake Ylläsjärvi.

The Midsummer buffet features summer favourites and seasonal flavours: green salad, coleslaw, fruit salad, ribs, sausage, new potatoes, smoked Arctic char, dill butter, corn, pickled herring, and strawberry cake.

There will also be public sauna sessions at 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 7:00 PMThe sauna sessions end before the bonfire, so there is time to enjoy the atmosphere of the evening through the sauna as well. You can book your sauna session at loimuresort.fi.

À la carte dishes and the terrace menu are available as usual from 4:00 PM onwards.
